Our quick and easy guide to choosing washable nappies.

There are so many washable nappies on the market, which one do you choose?  We have put together this very quick and easy guide which will point to the right nappies for your baby.

We have done the testing and sifting for you and reduced the choice down to a manageable number of brilliant nappies to save you time and ensure you don’t waste your money on nappies that don’t work.

All the nappies we recommend are trim, very reliable, soft and brilliantly flexible.  We also expect a nappy to wash well and dry easily – all the nappies we sell can be washed together, no soaking required and are on the quicker end of the drying scale.

You can therefore feel confident using them and your baby will feel incredibly comfortable wearing them. 

However, there are a few differences between the nappies we recommend and in order to determine which nappy would suit you best we have set out below 5 quick questions for you to answer.  Once you have decided which features are most important to you then you can scan the summary of each product we sell and decide which ones match your requirements.

Remember when using washable nappies there are no rules:

You can mix and match disposables and washables.  We love using washables and find there is minimal time difference compared to using disposables but life is busy and you have to decide the right balance for you.

If you decide to use washables full time feel free to mix and match different styles of nappies:
For example you may feel you want a different nappy for home use compared to out and about or a different nappy for night and day time use.  Some nappies are also on the more expensive end of the scale as you are paying for the craftsmanship but they will look fab in your nappy collection.  After a while nappy changing can feel very routine so it’s nice to jazz it up a bit!

Most importantly, select those nappies you feel you will enjoy using and then you are bound to get on well with them and feel happy with your purchase.
